Netlist Announces OEM Qualification of NetVault NV Non-Volatile Memory-Subsystem for RAID Controllers

Netlist, Inc. (Nasdaq: NLST) today announced that Dell Inc. has qualified both its 512 megabyte and 1 gigabyte flash memory-based, non-volatile cache subsystems, NetVault NV(TM), to support RAID storage applications on PowerEdge servers and PowerVault Direct Attached Storage solutions. With NetVault NV, Netlist is helping enable Dell servers to recover and retain data for weeks following data center power failures. The announcement follows Dell's recent selection of Netlist's battery-backed module, NetVault BB.

TIBCO Software Grows License Revenue by 23% and Total Revenue by 21% Over Q2 2009

TIBCO Software Inc. (NASDAQ:TIBX) today announced results for its second quarter, which ended on May 30, 2010

Total revenue for the second quarter of fiscal 2010 was $173.3 million and net income was $12.8 million, or $0.08 per diluted share. This compares to total revenue of $142.7 million and net income of $10.1 million, or $0.06 per diluted share, as reported for the second quarter of fiscal 2009.

On a non-GAAP basis, net income for the second quarter of fiscal 2010 was $26.2 million or $0.15 per diluted share, compared with $19.0 million or $0.11 per diluted share for the second quarter of fiscal 2009.

SonicWALL Enters into Merger Agreement with Thoma Bravo and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan

Shareholders to receive $11.50 per share in cash; transaction valued at approximately $717 million

SonicWALL, Inc. (Nasdaq:SNWL), a leading provider of IT security and data backup and recovery solutions, today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by an investor group led by Thoma Bravo, LLC in a transaction valued at approximately $717 million.  The SonicWALL Board of Directors unanimously approved the agreement and recommends that the Company's shareholders approve the transaction.

Under the terms of the agreement, SonicWALL shareholders will receive $11.50 in cash for each share of SonicWALL common stock they hold, representing a premium of approximately 28% over the Company's most recent closing price, and approximately a 63% premium over the Company's enterprise value.

Sonic to Acquire DivX

Combination Creates Digital Video Delivery Powerhouse; Streamlines "Over the Top" Distribution of Hollywood Movies

Sonic Solutions® (Nasdaq:SNIC) and DivX, Inc. (Nasdaq:DIVX) today jointly announced that they have signed a definitive merger agreement for Sonic Solutions to acquire DivX, Inc., a leading digital media company, based in San Diego, California.  Under the terms of the agreement, approved by the boards of directors of both companies, Sonic would acquire all the outstanding shares of DivX and merge DivX operations into those of Sonic. DivX stockholders would receive a combination of cash and stock equal to $3.75 in cash and 0.514 shares of Sonic common stock for each share of DivX they hold. The acquisition, which is expected to close in September 2010, is subject to approval of the shareholders of both companies as well as applicable regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

NetApp Announces Results for Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2010

Annual and Quarterly Records Reported for Revenue, Earnings and Free Cash Flow

NetApp (NASDAQ:NTAP) today reported results for the fourth fiscal quarter and fiscal year 2010, which ended April 30, 2010. Revenues for the fourth fiscal quarter of 2010 totaled $1.17 billion compared to revenues of $880 million for the same period one year ago.

For the fourth fiscal quarter, GAAP net income was $145 million, or $.40 per share(1) compared to GAAP net income of $68 million, or $0.21 per share for the same period in the prior year. Non-GAAP net income for the fourth fiscal quarter was $183 million, or $0.50 per share(2), compared to non-GAAP net income of $103 million, or $0.31 per share for the same period a year ago.
