Feasibility Model for Platinum Group Metals\' Project 1 Delivered to Partners by Independent Engineering Team on Time: Publication Expected

Platinum Group Metals Ltd. (Toronto:PTM.TO - News)(AMEX:PLG - News) announces the model for the Bankable Feasibility Study (\"BFS\") for the Project 1 platinum mine of the Western Bushveld Joint Venture (\"WBJV\") in South Africa has been delivered by the independent engineering team to the partners of the WBJV. The partners in the WBJV are Platinum Group Metals Ltd. 37% (operator), Anglo Platinum (JSE: AMS), 37% (the world\'s largest producer of platinum), and Wesizwe Platinum (JSE: WEZ), 26%.

The WBJV Project 1 is located in the heart of the Western Bushveld area of South Africa where 70% of the world\'s platinum is produced from the Merensky and UG2 Platinum Reefs; the same two horizons to be mined in the BFS.

CPEX Pharmaceuticals Shares to Begin Trading Today Following Spin-off from Bentley Pharmaceuticals

CPEX Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: CPEX) completed its previously announced taxable spin-off from Bentley Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE: BNT) yesterday at 11:59 p.m. Shares of the new company will begin regular trading today on the NASDAQ Capital Market under the ticker symbol “CPEX.”

Converted Organics Receives First Delivery of Liquid Food Waste at New Woodbridge, N.J. Manufacturing Facility

Converted Organics Inc. (NASDAQ:COIN) announced today that, on June 30, the Company took delivery of its first shipment of liquid food waste at its new flagship organic soil amendment and fertilizer processing facility in Woodbridge, New Jersey. The shipment was received from waste management firm Russell Reid of Keasbey, New Jersey. Converted Organics entered into a strategic agreement with Russell Reid in April, 2008 regarding the collection, processing and conversion of food waste from Russell Reid’s food service clients.

“We have begun processing our first shipment of 15,000 gallons of liquid food waste (approximately 70 tons), and are very pleased that its conversion into high-quality organic fertilizer via our High Temperature Liquid Composting (HTLC) system is proceeding as efficiently and effectively as expected,” said Edward J. Gildea, President of Converted Organics. “Our team of experts in Woodbridge expects similar success with all subsequent deliveries.”
