Kent Receives 24 Saskatchewan Coal Prospecting Permits

Kent Exploration Inc (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:KEX) reports that it has received 24 Coal Prospecting Permits from Saskatchewan Energy Resources, representing a permitted area of approximately 18,462 hectares (71.2 square miles).

The permitted area consists of two townships located immediately east of, and approximately six miles from, the Adamas coal discovery, where North American Gem has reported a five meter coal intersection grading sub-bituminous A quality. The Company has an additional 96 Coal Disposition Permit applications totaling 73,728 hectares (284.6 square miles) with Saskatchewan Energy Resources that are pending permit approval.

Marvin A. Mitchell, P. Eng., the Company's qualified professional and experienced in the exploration of coal deposits in Canada, has visited and conducted a general examination of the recently permitted area.

Kent Exploration Inc is a junior exploration company that has a 100% interest in a mining lease option on the Flagstaff Mountain property, a gold/silver/zinc/barite prospect in eastern Washington state, has earned 50% of a 100% interest in the mining lease option on the Ivanhoe Creek property, a Midas-style gold/silver target, has a 50% of a 100% interest in the Ivanhoe Creek placer claims covering a bentonite deposit in Nevada's Carlin Trend, has a 100% interest in the Courtney Lake property, a silver/lead/zinc prospect in north-east Saskatchewan, and has a 100% option on the Silver Hills property, a silver/lead/zinc prospect in south-eastern British Columbia.
