Lundin Announces Successful Completion of Tenke Fungurume Contract Review Process

(NYSE: FCX) have today announced the successful conclusion of the review of Tenke Fungurume Mining's (TFM) contracts. The joint news release reports as follows:

First Quantum Minerals to Acquire Antares Minerals Inc. Cash and Share Transaction Valued at Approximately C$460 Million

First Quantum Minerals Ltd. ("First Quantum" or the "Company") (TSX:FM)(LSE:FQM) and Antares Minerals Inc. ("Antares") (TSX VENTURE:ANM) announced today that they have entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which a wholly-owned subsidiary of First Quantum will acquire, by way of a court-approved plan of arrangement (the "Arrangement"), all of the outstanding securities of Antares. The total consideration for the purchase of 100% of the fully diluted shares of Antares is approximately C$460 million.

Zincore Discovers Large, Copper-Gold Porphyry at Dolores, Accha District, Peru

Zincore Metals Inc. (TSX: ZNC)(BVLAC: ZNC) ("Zincore" or the "Company") reports that it has discovered a large copper-gold porphyry with surface values of up to 2.3% copper and 1 g/tonne gold in chip samples at its Dolores property in southern Peru. The Dolores porphyry is located within the prolific Yauri-Andahuaylas Copper District, the largest porphyry deposit cluster in the southern hemisphere. This District contains 17 recognized porphyry deposits to date, including Xstrata's Tintaya and Las Bambas projects.

New Drill Hole at Oyu Tolgoi Intercepts 938 Metres of Near-Continuous Copper/Gold Mineralization Between Heruga Deposit and Southern Oyu Deposits

Intercepts of up to 10 grams of gold/tonne near bottom of hole in discovery area now known as Heruga North

Robert Friedland, Executive Chairman of Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. (TSX: IVN)(NYSE: IVN)(NASDAQ: IVN), and Richard Gosse, Vice-President, Exploration, announced today that the company has intercepted almost one kilometre of near-continuous gold and copper mineralization in drill hole OTD1510 at Oyu Tolgoi, making it the longest exploration drill intercept of gold and copper mineralization recorded since Ivanhoe began drilling at the Oyu Tolgoi Project in 2001.

Hole OTD1510 intercepted 112 metres grading 1.36 grams of gold per tonne (g/t) and 0.34% copper, with a copper equivalent grade of 1.21% (CuEq), at a down-hole depth of between 2,286 and 2,398 metres.
